Los Angeles

Los Angeles may seem a bit scattered for someone who hasn’t been here before and doesn’t which part of the city they will love the most. I usually try to avoid downtown as I don’t want to end up in the middle of sky scrapers, that’s not what LA is about. So this time I chose to stay at Montrose West Hollywood, a lovely hotel, 2 minutes walking distance from Sunset Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard, 5 minutes (by car) from Beverly Hills.

Montrose has very spacious room and very modern decorated, but what really had me excited was the rooftop. I love witnessing sunsets in Los Angeles and this rooftop pool and terrace was the perfect spot. That’s how I spent most of my afternoons in LA after wandering around the city.

If you’re not sold on this hotel yet, listen to this: Happy Hour is from 5 to 6 and it comes with free wine and champagne. Ok, enjoy your trip cause I’m guessing at this point you’re already booking the hotel haha!

Whenever I come to Los Angeles I have a few new places that I want to check out and a few places I visit over and over again. This time I went to Venice Beach for the first time (can you believe it lol) and I absolutely loved how alive everything was. Music and happiness everywhere. Venice Beach is perfect for skaters, rollerblading, bikes, yoga sessions, music jams and whatnot. I spend the whole day there and I left with a smile on my face.

If you have a favorite spot in Los Angeles put it in the comments!
